Choose Your Own Mediocre Adventure came from a challenge to design and code an interactive “game” with multiple paths.
I wanted to create something humorous and deadpan to showcase my penchant for satire and the absurd. The final product was something of a critique on the monotony of daily life and our complacency with it.
Design wise, the site is simple. It consists of a yellow legal pad background with sketchy doodles I animated to illustrate each scenario.
